10:30 am May 17 – Coming of Age Celebration- Rev. Laine & Rev. Margaret Weis
This year our youth have been part of a 3 congregation program to challenge and support them as they leave childhood. The program involves service, theological reflection and mentoring. It is a way that the congregation, the parents and the youth mark their transition out of childhood into something new. This Sunday we honor their journey giving each youth a chance to speak to us in their own voice. We encourage children especially to join us for this service as part of their religious education about what it means to grow up UU.
