One of the most challenging principles of Unitarian Universalism is to respect the inherent worth and dignity of every being. What about scorpions, and other critters (including  humans) who have the power to harm? How do we put love at the center in real-world situations where the risk of harm is real? How can we protect ourselves while creating beloved community?
